Holderness Granary DeConstruct

The summer of 2016 found NCC students and instructors in the beautiful Yampa River valley of Hayden, Colorado. The Hayden Heritage Center hired NCC to deconstruct the historic Holderness Granary barn with the intention of reconstructing the barn in downtown Hayden as a future Hayden Museum exhibit. A team of eight project participants, including four high school students from Hayden, three student assistant supervisors, and one lead trainer completed the project in less than three weeks. Funding for the project was provided by the Babson-Carpenter Foundation, Hayden.
