National Center for Craftsmanship at the Winter Markets
The National Center for Craftsmanship participated in the kick-off ribbon-cutting of the Winter Markets with members of City Council, DDA, and others on Saturday November 14th. More than 40 vendors at each market, selling produce, eggs, meat and poultry, wine and cider, cheese, bread and baked goods, coffee, locally-made food specialties and crafts and other locally-produced gift items. NCC to be Featured on Discovery Channel’s Planet Green “Renovation Nation”
With five successful deconstruct projects under our belt, our Spring 2009 youth training project caught the attention of Discovery Channel producers. Steve Thomas, formerly of PBS’s “This Old House”, and his crew filmed our deconstruction of a 110-year-old farmstead for the City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
